Terms of Service

These terms apply when you buy and use the Android app Practice Recorder Pro ("the App"). Please read them together with the Privacy Policy.

1. Who we are

The App is developed and sold by Zenskoglabs, a sole proprietorship (enskild firma) run by Mikael Zenskog, Rusthållarvägen 123, 128 44 Stockholm, Sweden. Email: zenskoglabs@proton.me.

2. Buying the App

The App is sold through Google Play. The price is shown on the Google Play listing before you buy. Payment, receipts and refunds are handled by Google under the Google Play Terms of Service, which also apply to your purchase.

3. Your licence

When you buy the App, you get a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to install and use it on Android devices linked to your Google account, for your own private or professional use. You may not resell, rent out or redistribute the App, or copy, modify or decompile it, except where the law allows it.

4. Right of withdrawal and refunds

The App is digital content delivered immediately after purchase. Under EU and Swedish consumer law, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply once the download has started with your consent. You can still ask for a refund through Google Play under Google Play's refund policy.

5. Your rights if something is wrong

If you are a consumer, you have legal rights if the App does not work as described or has a fault. Nothing in these terms limits those rights. If you have a problem, contact us first and we will do our best to fix it, for example with an update.

6. Updates

We may release updates to fix errors, keep the App compatible with new Android versions and meet Google Play requirements. Some updates may add, change or remove features, but we will not remove the core function of recording and playing back audio from the version you bought.

7. Your recordings

Your recordings belong to you. They are stored only on your device, and we have no access to them. You are responsible for backing up recordings you want to keep. Uninstalling the App, resetting your device or a device fault can delete them.

Only record other people if they agree, and follow the laws where you live.

8. Liability

We work to make the App reliable, but we cannot guarantee that it will be free of errors on every device. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses, such as lost recordings or lost income. This does not limit liability that cannot be limited by law, for example for gross negligence or for your rights as a consumer.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example when the App or the law changes. The current version is always on this page, with the date it was last updated. Changes do not affect purchases you have already made.

10. Applicable law and disputes

These terms are governed by Swedish law. If you are a consumer living in another country, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of that country.

If you have a complaint, please contact us first. Consumers can also take a dispute to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN), and consumers in other EU countries can get free help from the European Consumer Centre Sweden. Otherwise, disputes are decided by a Swedish court, unless the law gives you the right to go to a court in your own country.
